As it happens, Pushkin’s birthday falls on the same day as that of Kim Hyun Joong ("Boys Over Flower", "Mischievous Kiss").

On June 6, Kim Hyun Joong turned 40. To mark this significant milestone, he released a song and an MV for "Chicken & Beer" (치킨이야). The track was released under the label 1theK.

The main theme is finding simple joys in everyday life. Kim Hyun Joong uses the image of the popular Korean pairing "chimac" (치맥) — fried chicken and beer — as a metaphor for easygoing happiness, freedom and comfort. The song is an anthem of carefreeness and everyday ease, in which the artist sings about how important it is sometimes to cast aside rules and plans ("No chains, no rules, no plan") and simply go with the rhythm of life, savouring the moment.

The video is packed with well-known internet memes related to chicken and beer, including one scene that is very recognisable across the post-Soviet space: a group of men having a sauna inside the bucket of an excavator.
